There are some teams who are fantastic. They help during need. They have good learning tools, and give you space to learn.
There are other teams that are terrible. Unfortunately, I was in one of these. There is no training for management, so they just do what they want and say what they want, even if it is actively hurting the team.
Train your managers.
First, a call from HR to confirm the number of years of experience (which were already on my CV). Then a technical round with what looks to be a manager and two senior developers. The worst interview I ever had: questions were really badly explaine
All technical discussions on resume-based added technologies were included. One manager, three developers, and one tech lead were involved in technical discussions. All sorts of technical questions in full-stack development were asked.
2-part interview: behavioral and technical. Technical involved your knowledge of the application development life cycle and a few algorithm questions. They need more team workers. Read about classes and programming best practices.
