Workday contacted me about a new design-focused Front-End Engineering role.
After a brief phone call with the hiring manager, I was invited to an on-site interview at their HQ in Pleasanton, California.
The on-site interview lasted about 5 hours (not the typical 8 hours) and was not very technical. Most of the questions were experience-based, with only one system design session.
Perhaps this was due to the fact that it wasn't for a typical SWE role, or perhaps it was due to my experience, but the interview process was easier than I expected.
The people at Workday were all very friendly and knowledgeable. I appreciated the opportunity to interview with them.
