Software Development Manager Interview Experience - Dublin, Ireland

Process

The first step is a screening call with the recruiter. They asked about your background and experience, which is very generic.

The second step is another call with the hiring manager. They asked mainly behavioral questions, such as "What was your greatest achievement?" or "What type of leader are you?", and some questions related to your background and experience.

The third interview is another call with two engineers. This involves an online UML class diagram exercise. The diagram needs to satisfy certain requirements they list. It is not very complex, but you need to be in the right mindset and have had practice beforehand. Unfortunately for me, I was out of practice.

Everybody was very professional during the whole process. The only thing I didn't like is that the projects are based on their proprietary language, which is probably why they have the UML tech test.
