Less motivation and less compensation
This was a phone interview. There were no questions about my resume or basic Java knowledge. The interviewer only introduced himself and what they are working on. Then he gave a technical question to write a simulation for a lowest unique bid auction
There were two rounds of phone screens, followed by five to seven rounds of in-person interviews. The in-person interviews spanned two days. Two additional rounds were required on top of the initial five to address evaluation gaps in earlier stages.
Phone interview, 1 hour. 1. Talk about projects. 2. Ask basic Java knowledge. 3. Ask Linux knowledge. 4. Three coding questions, average difficulty. The interview is not very difficult to prepare for.
