The first step, as people have noted, is a questionnaire that takes a long time to complete. After that huge investment, you get a 'job fit' interview, which is a 30-minute video interview with three members of the team. In this interview, you just talk about past experiences, technology you like using, goals for the future, etc. At the end, they will ask about your salary requirements, timeline, and tell you about the technical assessment.
It's disappointing that after spending hours on a questionnaire and bringing three people into a video chat to interview someone, they can't be bothered to give actual feedback. Just a generic 'this was a hard choice, but we have decided not to move on with your application' email.
This is a long process, and I'd advise applying to a role at Zapier early on in your job search because it's going to take 5-6+ weeks for sure.
