Zendesk is truly an awesome company to work for, and for many reasons. I've found the most impactful reasons are their understanding of work-life balance, parental leave (regardless of gender), and their willingness to let their employees innovate and self-manage.
It's really difficult to find something that would be negative about Zendesk. I honestly can't say much, other than perhaps it is difficult to experience the growing pains at times, but that comes with the territory of a fast-paced industry.
Keep looking out for your employees and their families. Salaries are great, but understanding the importance of family life and being ahead of the competition in this regard is extremely difficult to come by.
Good experience. Questions were well-suited, and there was also a technical assignment about parsing some JSON data from an external API. Overall, there were 3 technical rounds: 2 about the technical coding assignment and 1 about technical questions
It was great, but I had to wait for feedback for 2 weeks. I was unsure about the results and started the process at another company. During the interviews, there was always a dedicated time for questions from my side.
A 1-hour interview with the manager, discussing the candidate's background and asking behavioral questions. The interviewer shared details regarding job specifications. Overall, the interview process seemed professional and lasted around 3 weeks.
