Adobe is seeking a talented and highly motivated engineer for the Photoshop Android team. As a Computer Scientist, you'll work on cutting-edge imaging products, adding features strategic to Adobe's growth. You'll collaborate with product managers and fellow engineers to define roadmaps, gather requirements, design and implement features, and create unit & automation test cases. The role involves optimizing app performance, eliminating crashes & ANRs, and ensuring a responsive user experience. You'll be part of a passionate team dedicated to building scalable and responsive applications for the Android platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop features for Adobe Photoshop on Android
- Collaborate on product roadmaps and release planning
- Implement end-to-end feature development, from requirements to testing
- Optimize app performance and responsiveness
- Work with cutting-edge imaging technologies
Required Qualifications:
- BTech or MTech in Computer Science or equivalent
- Minimum 8 years of hands-on software development experience
- Strong Kotlin, JetPack Compose, and Java programming skills
- Experience in Android app development and latest advancements
- Good understanding of architectural patterns
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with Agile, Lean, or Scrum methodologies

Responsibilities For Computer Scientist – 2 ( Photoshop Android )
- Work with our Product Manager, fellow engineers in the team and other partners in defining roadmap, scope and work for releases
- Own your features end-to-end starting from gathering requirements, design, implementation and instrumenting unit & automation test cases
- Constantly strive towards making the app responsive by optimising memory and processing footprint; eliminating crashes & ANRs
Requirements For Computer Scientist – 2 ( Photoshop Android )
- BTech or MTech in Computer Science or equivalent
- Minimum 8 years of hands-on software development experience
- Strong Kotlin, JetPack Compose, Java programming skills
- Experience in Android app development and latest advancements
- Good/practical understanding of architectural patterns
- Excellent communication skills, ability to collaborate across teams and build consensus
- Practice with product development and release methodologies such as Agile, Lean, Scrum
