FullStack Software Engineer - AEM

As a FullStack Software Engineer in the AEM team in Bucharest, you'll have the opportunity to shape industry-leading products that touch billions of users daily - from morning until night, across apps, advertisements, websites, and shopping experiences.

The role involves direct customer interaction, translating needs into technical requirements, and leading conversations with major brand customers. You'll need deep technical expertise in browser operations, CSS, JS, CDNs, page load optimization, SEO, and user engagement metrics.

The position focuses on developing enterprise-level content management systems powered by cloud services and frontend applications, connected through well-designed APIs, events and workflows. You'll be working with a modern tech stack including Scala for backend development and Angular for frontend work.

Key responsibilities include:

• Partnering with Product Management and Design teams to develop customer-focused solutions
• Leading application/framework/service design efforts with focus on quality and scale
• Writing production-ready code using appropriate technologies
• Mentoring team members and promoting continuous learning
• Prototyping new approaches and implementing solutions at scale

The ideal candidate will have:

• Strong backend development experience with Java, Go or Rust
• Full-stack capabilities with focus on backend development
• Proficiency in Angular for frontend work
• Experience with Kubernetes and Azure
• Strong algorithmic and logical thinking skills
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Self-managed approach and initiative
• Fluent English language skills
