Description For Site Reliability Engineer, Adobe Document Cloud

Adobe's Reliability Engineering team is looking for a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to help build and operate services like Adobe Sign. Adobe Sign is the fastest and easiest way to get contracts signed and filed. Unlike virtual fax or e-signature software, we offer an end-to-end solution by automating the entire contracting process from the request for signature to the distribution and filing of the final agreement. We instantly show customers what's out for signature, what is signed, when and by whom.

What is Needed to Succeed: Responsibilities · Ensure the highest level of uptime and Quality of Service (QoS) to Adobe's customers through operational excellence · Help with defining service level objectives (SLOs) and service level indicators (SLIs) to represent and measure service quality · Embed with product teams (physically and/or virtually) to develop tight-knit collaboration/partnership · Identify areas to improve service resiliency through techniques such as performance/load testing, code review, Chaos engineering, etc · Support and maintain globally distributed multi-cloud (public and/or private) environments including AWS and Azure · Automate common, repeatable tasks at a large scale to reduce toil · Solve performance and stability issues using a wide variety of tools · Participate in an on-call rotation as required · Determine the root cause for all production level incidents and write corresponding high-quality RCA reports · Promote the DevOps/SRE mentality

Qualifications BS in Computer science or equivalent work experience 3-5 years of experience in SRE or related field · Deep understanding of both software engineering and technical operations · Expertise with containerization orchestration engines (Kubernetes), AKS, ECK etc · DevOps skills (scrum/Kanban/agile/ci-cd/12-factor) · Experience in modern cloud-based, SaaS delivery technologies: Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, Jenkins, Git, Atlassian Jira and Confluence, Linux, DNS, E-mail, containers, log analysis, monitoring, Java, Apache, Tomcat, Memcached, Qpid, and MySQL on Linux · Programming skills, particularly with Python, Java, Ruby, various scripting languages · Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills · Familiarity with Prometheus, Grafana, NewRelic, Splunk, other logging solutions · Familiar with a variety of cloud and automation concepts, practices, and procedures

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $108,000 -- $198,500 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
