As part of the Developer Experience team, you'll be responsible for increasing the velocity and scale of the development team by providing easy-to-use development environments and infrastructure.
The role combines deep technical expertise with a focus on developer productivity and platform reliability. You'll work on designing and developing Continuous Delivery Pipelines, maintaining cloud-based automation systems, and building tools and dashboards that enhance the developer experience. Responsibilities For Software Development Engineer, Platform Engineering
- Design and develop reliable Continuous Delivery Pipeline for developing, building, testing, and deployment desktop, mobile, and service offerings
- Maintain and support internal cloud-based automation systems
- Collect, refine, and prioritize needs from the engineering team
- Work closely with engineering team members to integrate automation tools
- Build tools, dashboards, and other related infrastructure
- Cultivate and enhance the organization's DevOps culture and mindset
Requirements For Software Development Engineer, Platform Engineering
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years of practical experience delivering Web products
- Excellent understanding of OOP, Functional Programming, software life-cycle, source control tools
- Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, Golang or Python
- Very good knowledge of design patterns, data structures and algorithms
- Very good knowledge of CICD practices, tools, and software
- Good knowledge in build tools and systems
- Familiarity with cloud-based SaaS delivery technologies
- Experience with monitoring systems like Prometheus, NewRelic or Splunk
- Experience with Agile development process
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficiency in English
