Senior Firmware Engineer

ADTRAN is seeking a Senior Firmware Engineer to join their Coherent Pluggable product unit. This role focuses on embedded software development for optical transceiver assemblies and plugs, requiring expertise in both software and hardware domains. The ideal candidate will be responsible for all aspects of embedded firmware design and development, from architecture to implementation and testing. They will work closely with cross-functional teams including Optical, Hardware, and Test engineers in an Agile environment. The role involves writing device drivers for complex ASIC's and FPGA's, contributing to hardware design reviews, and developing automation scripts for firmware validation.
