Protofire is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join their team, focusing on cloud infrastructure and blockchain technology. The role combines traditional DevOps responsibilities with cutting-edge blockchain infrastructure management. The ideal candidate will work with AWS, containerization, and Linux systems, while maintaining high-availability environments. This position offers the opportunity to work with both cloud and on-premise infrastructure, implementing CI/CD pipelines, and collaborating with development teams. The role requires expertise in cloud services, containerization, and automation tools, with blockchain knowledge being a plus. Responsibilities For DevOps Engineer
- Design, deploy, and maintain cloud-native and on-premise infrastructure
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using best practices
- Monitor and troubleshoot systems performance, uptime, and reliability
- Containerize applications and manage Kubernetes clusters
- Work on automation tools and infrastructure-as-code
- Collaborate with developers to improve application performance, security, and scalability
- Participate in on-call rotations and incident response procedures
Requirements For DevOps Engineer
- 2-4 years of experience in a DevOps, SRE, or Systems Engineering role
- Solid knowledge of AWS services (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, ECS/EKS, etc.)
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments
- Strong background in Linux administration
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.)
- Good scripting skills (Bash, Python, etc.)
- Proactive, autonomous, and willing to learn
