Description For Data Center Operations (DCO) Server Engineer, NRT East - DCO

AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. As a Data Center Operations (DCO) Server Engineer, you'll be part of the Infrastructure Operations Team, maintaining infrastructure including servers, network devices, and other components. Key responsibilities include 24/7 onsite coverage in shifts, break-fix of servers and network devices, troubleshooting network connections, responding to high-severity events within SLAs, contributing to projects, and seeking ways to improve processes and systems. The role offers continuous training, growth opportunities, and the chance to work with advanced technologies in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities For Data Center Operations (DCO) Server Engineer, NRT East - DCO

  • 24/7 onsite coverage as a Team in shifts and/or oncall
  • Break-fix of servers and network devices
  • Troubleshooting of network connections
  • Responding to high-severity events within SLAs
  • Contributing to and/or leading projects
  • Coordinating and building relationships with various Data Center teams
  • Seeking out ways to improve yourself and the processes and systems with which you work

Requirements For Data Center Operations (DCO) Server Engineer, NRT East - DCO

Linux
  • High school or equivalent diploma
  • STEM classes or vocational course curriculum education
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
  • Work 40 hours/week, and overtime as required
  • Work 10 hour shifts as needed
  • Experience managing work and priorities through a ticketing system and coordination with Manager
