Key responsibilities include:
- Improving core developer tooling (analytics stack, UI libraries)
- Unlocking new capabilities through API integration
- Enhancing service reliability via improved monitoring and CI/CD pipelines
- Updating and operating innovative landing pages across Amazon's platforms
- Designing solutions to automate repetitive business tasks
- Evolving architecture to meet new business requirements
- Working across the technical stack (infrastructure as code, services, UI frameworks)
A typical day involves:
- Participating in daily stand-up meetings (Kanban methodology)
- Writing high-quality, maintainable code
- Engaging in code reviews via Pull Requests
- Driving architectural decisions
- Collaborating with stakeholders to align technical implementations with strategic goals
- Contributing to on-call rotation (approximately once every 5 weeks)
