Network Development Engineer II, Enterprise Network Engineering

AWS Infrastructure Services is seeking a Network Development Engineer II to join their Office Network Engineering (ONE) team within the GCNA (Global Connectivity and Network Availability) Organization. This role is crucial in designing and implementing next-generation IP networks that serve as the backbone connecting AWS's global network.

The position involves working with cutting-edge cloud technologies to design SDWAN/Edge networks serving 500+ remote offices. You'll be responsible for automating network device deployments using infrastructure as code, implementing solutions across multiple AWS regions, and ensuring network stability and sustainability.

As part of the Enterprise Office Network Engineering team, you'll be working on connecting hundreds of remote offices to the Enterprise core network and AWS cloud. The role requires expertise in network protocols, Linux/Unix environments, and automation using Python and other scripting languages. You'll collaborate with various engineering teams to ensure smooth deployment of new designs and products.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with major internet routing protocols, Linux/Unix environments, and automation scripting. Knowledge of wireless networking, TCP/IP networking, and various network security architectures is highly valued.
