Description For Quality Assurance Engineer I, Music Client QA

Amazon Music is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer I to join their dynamic team in Bangalore. As a QA Engineer, you'll be part of an innovative platform that serves millions of users through personalized music playlists, exclusive podcasts, concert livestreams, and artist merchandise.

In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring the quality of Amazon Music's features and functionalities through both manual and automated testing approaches. You'll work closely with development teams to create and maintain test cases, develop automation scripts, and drive the software development process toward quality-centric methodologies.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of quality assurance engineering experience, with a strong background in both manual and automation testing. You'll be expected to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, User Interaction, and Customer Support, to understand customer usage models and develop comprehensive test plans.

Key responsibilities include driving feature releases end-to-end, creating automation scripts, writing and maintaining test cases, and providing detailed reports on test progress and metrics. You'll also be involved in deep-diving into applications, comparing features between versions, and identifying changes within versions.
