Our objective with Bazaar is to enable "beginner online shoppers" shop for low-cost fashion and home products at wholesale prices.
As a Quality Assurance Engineer II for Amazon Bazaar, you will be instrumental in shaping the product direction and will be actively involved in defining key product features that impact the business. You will be responsible for testing code through various methods, including manual test cases, writing test automation, and using various tools. You'll use black box, gray box, and white box testing techniques, and should be able to understand software internals, debug problems using log files, and write automated tests.
You'll work closely with Software Development Engineers to understand features and technical implementation. Additionally, you'll collaborate with Product Management, User Experience Design, and Customer Support to understand customer usage models and develop test plans and test suites that approximate real-world environments and regression tests.

- Driving the software development process toward quality-centric methodologies

Requirements For Quality Assurance Engineer II, Amazon Bazaar
- 4+ years of quality assurance engineering experience
- Experience in automation testing
- Experience in manual testing
- Experience as QA lead on medium to large sized projects
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to understand software internals and debug problems using log files
- Familiarity with black box, gray box, and white box testing techniques
