Description For Security Engineer I, Customer Service Security Response Operations (CSSRO)

Amazon's Customer Service Security team is seeking a Security Engineer I to join their front-line defense protecting customers from technical & malicious threats. This role combines security engineering with customer protection at an unprecedented scale. As part of the Customer Service Security Response Operations (CSSRO), you'll be responsible for investigating and responding to security incidents, conducting threat analysis, and implementing robust security solutions.

The position offers an exciting opportunity to work with world-class talent in solving complex security challenges at Amazon's massive scale. You'll serve as a subject matter expert in incident response, leading investigations and coordinating with various teams to protect customer data and interests. The role involves both tactical incident response and strategic security engineering work.

  • Respond to Incidents in a timely manner
  • Conduct deep-dive investigations into threat and fraud abuse reports
