Senior Business Intelligence Engineer, Middle Mile Supply & Routing Optimization

Amazon's Middle Mile Supply and Routing Optimization team is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Engineer to drive critical efficiency metrics and optimization in their logistics network. This role operates at the intersection of complex Amazon systems, providing global visibility into inventory movement and customer service operations.

The position focuses on owning crucial efficiency metrics including Loaded Drive Time, Cost per Block Hour, and Cost per Loaded Hour. You'll be responsible for:

• Producing weekly metrics and insights
• Conducting deep dives on new product launches
• Contributing to monthly VP-level business reviews
• Leading EU data and infrastructure parity initiatives with NA
• Analyzing multi-TB datasets to identify cost reduction opportunities
• Designing and establishing KPIs for network performance
• Developing standardized metrics for network planning
• Communicating complex insights to various stakeholders

The role combines technical expertise with business acumen, requiring proficiency in SQL, data visualization tools, and programming for large-scale data analysis. You'll work with a collaborative team of program managers, product managers, research scientists, and software developers to shape Amazon's future network optimization strategies.
