Description For Senior Technical Program Manager-Teamcenter, Project Kuiper Satellites

Project Kuiper is Amazon's ambitious initiative to revolutionize global broadband access through a constellation of 3,236 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). As a Senior Technical Program Manager in the Enterprise Engineering team, you'll play a crucial role in building the software, services, and infrastructure that enable the program to design and engineer the future of LEO Satellite based broadband services.

The position involves leading technical planning, coordination, and implementation of multiple programs across this groundbreaking initiative. You'll work alongside Program Managers, Product Managers, and Engineers to drive key business initiatives, managing complex Product Lifecycle Management systems and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The role requires strong technical leadership, with responsibilities including managing PDM/PLM/MCAD and ECAD system implementation projects, defining project scope and deliverables, and ensuring high-quality product delivery. You'll be working in a fast-paced, intellectually challenging environment that demands high standards and innovative thinking.

The Kuiper Builder Product Support team you'll join supports applications for Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Library Management, Product Lifecycle Management, and interfaces with Enterprise systems. The position offers competitive compensation ranging from $133,900 to $231,400 based on location, plus equity and comprehensive benefits. Responsibilities For Senior Technical Program Manager-Teamcenter, Project Kuiper Satellites

  • Manage complex Product Lifecycle Management PDM/PLM/MCAD and ECAD system implementation projects
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver high-quality products
  • Define and prioritize product and feature requirements across MCAD, ECAD, Manufacturing, and SAP domains
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets
  • Manage escalations and risk mitigation
  • Communicate project status and updates to stakeholders and senior leadership

Requirements For Senior Technical Program Manager-Teamcenter, Project Kuiper Satellites

  • 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
  • 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
  • 5+ years of technical program management working with software engineering teams
  • Experience managing programs across cross functional teams
  • Experience building and evaluating system-level technical design
  • Experience leading highly technical programs involving infrastructure
  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
  • 3+ years of PLM, CAD, or manufacturing systems development experience
  • Must be a U.S. citizen due to export control requirements
