Software Dev Engineer II, Whole Foods Market Engineering Services

The Whole Foods Market Engineering Services (WFMES) team is seeking passionate and innovative Software Development Engineers to join their Engineering Services team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex and challenging projects that will deliver innovative technical solutions to advance the retail grocery industry.

As a WFMES Software Development Engineer, you will:

• Tackle a diverse landscape of technical challenges in an early-stage initiative
• Translate business requirements into concrete systems and prototype concepts
• Design, develop, and deploy reliable distributed solutions that operate at Amazon scale
• Work with core languages and technologies including Java, Python, Kotlin, React, and AWS services
• Collaborate with different teams across Amazon and Whole Foods Market
• Contribute to the company's Higher Purpose of Nourishing People and the Planet

Requirements:

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of experience in design or architecture of new and existing systems
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language

• 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
