Amazon CloudWatch Logs is one of the largest log management and analytics services ingesting hundreds of peta-bytes of logs every month. We are building new monitoring and observability services and shaping the future for the next generation of Logs Insights and Logs based applications that help customers reduce the mean-time-to-resolution. This is a unique opportunity to come in on the ground floor and define the direction of a strategic AWS service from to General Availability (GA) and beyond.
You will lead projects that drive software of large-scale control and planes, using various languages and Amazon proprietary technologies. You'll have a unique opportunity to shape our services and positively affect our customers. You'll be chartered with creating and operating services that collect and store metrics at internet scale, deliver mission-critical capabilities to cloud users, and embed operational knowledge and encode best practices into everything we do.
The team is building Odyssey, an operations assistant that leverages the latest GenAI models and is trained on decades of Amazon operations data to guide customers through system issue detection, root cause analysis, and offers a starting point for remediation. Using this assistant is like having an expert Amazon engineer's skills available to investigate every incident.
We care about your career growth and are dedicated to supporting new team members. Our team has a broad mix of experience levels and Amazon tenures, and we're building an environment that celebrates knowledge sharing and mentorship. We value work-life harmony and strive for flexibility as part of our working culture.
