Software Development Engineer, Amazon Fulfillment Technologies (AFT)

Amazon's Fulfillment Technologies group is seeking enthusiastic and talented SDEs to help innovate, architect, design and build highly available, scalable and real-time fulfillment systems. As a member of a small team, you will have the opportunity to work on highly visible, innovative projects that directly impact thousands of associates working in Amazon fulfillment centers worldwide.

You will be involved in all aspects of the software development cycle, including scoping, design, implementation, testing, and delivery of products, as well as setting the vision and future roadmap. The role focuses on improving FC associates' experience by building better tools to handle their tasks and overcome issues in the process.

Key responsibilities include:

• Building a unified platform with machine learning capabilities to enhance associates' ability to predict and fix operational blockers independently
• Developing automations for various types of Amazon FCs worldwide (e.g., Amazon robotic FCs, Sortable, non-sortable, Prime Now, Fresh, Flexi)
• Innovating and simplifying operational processes to improve FC operability and associate productivity
