Description For Software Development Engineer - AWS Identity and Access

The AWS Identity team innovates, builds, and operates the identity and access management services to enable AWS customers run their business workloads confidently and securely in the AWS cloud. We enable customers to securely manage identities, resources, and permissions at scale. We operate some of the largest distributed systems in the world, processing over 400 million transactions per second.

Our mission is to provide an intuitive workflow for AWS customers to manage access to their most critical workloads. As part of this mission, we use automated reasoning techniques to guide customers to set and manage appropriate access controls across all their AWS environments. We are growing our team with individuals passionate about building products for all AWS customers that combine automated reasoning and machine learning.

In this role, you will:

  • Build solutions on a global scale

  • Influence the direction of technology used by all AWS customers globally
  • Contribute to and design components for flexible and scalable solutions

Requirements For Software Development Engineer - AWS Identity and Access

Java
Python
  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent (preferred)
  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience (preferred)
