Software Development Engineer II

The Retail Platform team in Physical Stores Organization is responsible for retail systems integration needed for 3P retailers to use the Just Walk Out (JWO) technology. You'll work on retail data ingestion, payment processing, compliance, seller fees, taxes, accounting, and self-service tools.

As an SDE II, you will:

• Work independently to invent, design, and build stable and performant software
• Be proficient in frontend (web apps), backend (AWS services), and low-level system technologies
• Write maintainable and understandable code
• Create flexible software without over-engineering
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and team planning
• Focus on operational excellence
• Train and mentor new teammates
• Help with recruitment and interviewing
