AWS Infrastructure Services is seeking a Software Development Engineer II to join their Global Connectivity and Network Availability (GCNA) team. This role is crucial in maintaining AWS's global infrastructure, which includes the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all data centers, servers, storage, and networking equipment. The GCNA team specifically manages the backbone that connects the global AWS network, ensuring efficient internet traffic flow between Data Centers and customers worldwide.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about cloud computing and delivering high-quality services, with strong knowledge of distributed systems and experience in design and implementation. You'll work with a tenured team of Network Development Engineers and Systems Development Engineers, building new services using AWS technologies. The role involves solving problems at scale, working with various data sources, and proactively sharing knowledge across the company.
