Software Development Engineer II (L5), AWS CloudTrail

The CloudTrail team builds and manages one of the largest audit logging systems in the world, providing our users visibility into user activity and resources changes in AWS. Our data is a vital part of how AWS customers demonstrate compliance with internal policies or regulatory standards, create event-based workflows and alarming, perform security analysis, and troubleshoot operational issues. Every single AWS customer has CloudTrail enabled by default, which means we work with nearly every other AWS service and build scalable systems that process massive amounts of data.

This is a full-stack, experienced development position, leaning towards back-end work. As a member of the UC organization, you'll support the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (IoT), Platform, and Productivity Apps services in AWS, including support for customers who require specialized security solutions for their cloud services.

Key job responsibilities:

• Help define the system architecture, own and implement specific components, and help shape the overall experience
• Build highly available, secure, scalable, distributed and event-driven systems
• Contribute to planning, architecture design, implementation, testing, and process improvement
• This position involves on-call responsibilities, typically for one week every two months
