Description For Software Development Engineer II, Measurement, Ad Tech, and Data Science (MADS)

Join Amazon's Omnichannel Metrics (OCM) team, a rapidly growing organization that enables advertisers to measure the impact of their advertisements across retail outlets outside of Amazon. As an SDE II, you'll be part of building proprietary Machine Learning models to predict off-Amazon impact of Amazon advertisements. The team operates in start-up mode, working to build a unique, world-class advertising product with a relentless focus on the customer.

You'll work with cutting-edge technologies including Scala, Java, and Python, becoming an expert in Apache/Spark and Big Data technologies. The role involves building highly performant distributed systems, with opportunities to expand existing offerings and build new systems from the ground up. You'll have significant influence on overall strategy, helping define product features, drive system architecture, and spearhead best practices.

The ideal candidate should be passionate about new opportunities and have a proven track record of delivering new features and products. You'll need exceptional technical expertise, strong CS fundamentals, and practical experience building low-level solutions. Success in this role requires thriving in a hyper-growth environment with fast-shifting priorities.
