Software Development Engineer (Live Event Services - Prime Video)

Our team launched the first full-scale live streaming experience to all worldwide Prime customers with NFL's Thursday Night Football in September 2018. Within a year, we delivered a multi-game watching experience to Prime Video customers in the UK for English Premier League.

As a Software Development Engineer on our team in Seattle, WA, you'll build innovative solutions for customers to engage with and experience live content. This role offers a transformative opportunity to be at the forefront of a program that will revolutionize Prime Video and the live streaming experience for customers globally.

Key responsibilities: • Design, implement, and deploy software components • Apply solid understanding of design approaches • Work independently and collaboratively to deliver software successfully • Produce high-quality work incorporating best practices • Focus on operational excellence, identify problems, propose solutions, and improve team software • Train new team members on customers, team software, construction, testing, operations, and overall context

You'll work with a distributed engineering team to build various services integrating with the broader Prime Video ecosystem, delivering low-latency, high TPS services. Our team values operational excellence and constructive problem-solving.
