Amazon's Mechatronics & Sustainable Packaging (MSP) team is seeking a Software Development Engineer to join their innovative pack team. This role is crucial in building and maintaining core software and services in Amazon Fulfillment Centers that help pack items for worldwide shipping.

The MSP team powers Amazon's global fulfillment network by creating software, hardware, and data science solutions that orchestrate processes, robots, machines, and people. They work to decrease delivery times and improve customer experience through automated solutions while optimizing human involvement.

As a team member, you'll:

  • Own and deliver highly visible, innovative projects directly impacting customer experience
  • Drive technical and architectural vision for a core team touching every Amazon package
  • Participate in all aspects of the software development cycle
  • Work with operations staff in Amazon fulfillment centers globally
  • Build new software from scratch and create pragmatic solutions for complex business problems
