Software Development Engineer, Nitro SSD Observability

AWS Infrastructure Services is at the heart of Amazon's cloud operations, responsible for the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. The team is seeking a Software Development Engineer to join their Nitro SSD initiative, a strategic project aimed at enhancing storage availability, performance, scale, and security across global data centers.

The role focuses on building large-scale monitoring and real-time telemetry systems for operating an at-scale storage platform. You'll be working on designing and implementing automation, tooling, observability, and data analytics solutions. Collaboration with various internal and external development teams, including architecture, hardware, validation, data scientist, and software services teams, is a key aspect of the position.

The compensation is competitive and varies based on geographic location, with a base pay range from $129,300 to $223,600 per year, plus additional benefits including equity and sign-on payments.
