Description For Software Development Engineer (SDE) Intern, Digital and Emerging Payments

The Digital and Emerging Payments Team at Amazon is seeking a talented Software Development Engineer intern to help build the future of payment solutions in emerging markets. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on reusable components and services that power affordability payment products like Buy Now Pay Later and Credit Card Installment across multiple countries including Singapore, Mexico, Australia, and Brazil.

As an intern, you'll be immersed in the full software development lifecycle, working alongside some of Amazon's best engineers to design, develop, test, and deploy solutions that directly impact customers' payment experiences. The team collaborates with both internal teams and external credit providers to create seamless experiences for customers choosing payment plans.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about fintech and building customer-centric payment solutions. You'll gain hands-on experience with large-scale systems while working in a fast-paced, innovative environment. The role requires strong technical skills, creativity in problem-solving, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative setting.

The internship runs from July to December 2025, based in Singapore, offering real-world experience in one of the world's leading technology companies.
