Description For Software Development Engineer, SDE, Selling Partner Promotions

Join Amazon's Selling Partner Promotions team as a Software Development Engineer II (SDE II) to build systems that drive Selling Partner growth and enhance customer experience on Amazon.com. You'll be instrumental in developing services that enable Selling Partners to promote products through BuyXGetY Point of Sale Discounts (POSD) and architect solutions that unify Retail and Third-Party promotions sourcing.

The role operates within the structured Selling Partner Promotions organization, which implements processes including Quarterly Planning, Office Hours, and Feature Intake to minimize workflow disruptions. This allows engineering teams to focus on building scalable systems that benefit both Selling Partners and customers.

As an SDE II, you'll have the opportunity to shape the future of Amazon's promotional architecture while working with cutting-edge technologies. The position requires strong technical leadership, architectural expertise, and the ability to mentor junior engineers. You'll collaborate closely with Product, Technology, and Business teams to deliver end-to-end software components that meet business objectives.
