Sr. QMS Implementation Engineer, Mechatronics & Sustainable Packaging

We are working on the future at Amazon Robotics – Mechatronics & Sustainable Packaging (MSP) Team. We're seeking an outstanding Sr. Quality Management System (QMS) Implementation Engineer to implement MSP Quality Management System specifications. This role involves partnering with internal customers, the Quality Assurance Execution team, and the QMS Design Manager to ensure alignment and consistency across manual, virtual, and process validation.

Key responsibilities include:

• Owning MSP QMS implementation
• Analyzing and performing periodic audits on QMS process implementation
• Supporting QMS Design Manager in gathering relevant specifications
• Cooperating with MSP Safety and Compliance Team
• Managing QMS implementation scope, budget, schedule, and risks
• Implementing quality metrics for MSP products
• Ensuring adherence to QMS processes and procedures
• Complying with relevant laws, regulations, and policies

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, business understanding, and deep experience in quality management processes, standards, and complex systems integration. They should excel in communication, collaboration, and strategic thinking across multiple large engineering, testing, and operations teams.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree (BS)
• 4+ years proven experience in QMS implementation for advanced robotics, automotive, or mechatronic products
• Theoretical and hands-on experience in quality auditing, evaluation, and quality management system design
• Ability to travel up to 75% to business locations and project sites

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with complex automated material handling equipment and packaging technologies
• Strong communication skills
• Knowledge of NRTL and/or CE compliance standards
• Strong analytical, testing, and problem-solving skills
• Project management skills
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor and/or Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification
