Amazon is seeking a Condition-Based Monitoring (CBM) Senior Reliability Engineer (SrRE) for our Reliability & Maintenance Engineering (RME) team. The CBM SrRE will be a member of the RME network Condition-Based Monitoring team and has full accountability and ownership of driving condition-based monitoring and predictive maintenance (PDM) program across the globe.
Key responsibilities include:
- Identifying focus areas for the reliability team based on CBM/PDM data
- Working across multiple business units to identify root causes and actions related to CBM alarms and major equipment downtime events
- Developing standard operating procedures and maintenance benchmarking standards
- Analyzing operational data and equipment performance history to improve critical maintenance-related metrics
- Providing, delivering, and managing CBM programs in new launch and retrofit sites
- Partnering with engineering and start-up teams to implement improvements to the CBM/PDM program
- Leading projects from ideation to completion
The role requires up to 50% travel and aims to improve machine performance, lifetime, and reduce overall maintenance costs for material handling equipment (MHE).
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Engineering or related field
- Experience as a Reliability Engineer, Process Engineer, or Manufacturing Engineer
- Certifications: CMRP, RCM, FMEA/FMECA, Criticality Analysis, LCC analysis
- Experience in delivering asset reliability programs with network rollout
Preferred:
- Knowledge of Root Cause Analysis (RCA) systems
- Experience with material handling systems (MHS) installation, operation, and maintenance
- Familiarity with CMMS and preventive/predictive maintenance techniques
