Advertising at Amazon is growing incredibly fast, and as a seasoned Engineer on the PV Ads Monetization team, you will build new ads formats that will help drive revenue growth within Prime Video while enhancing the viewership experience.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing long-term architecture and using technical data points to build consensus across PEs and other engineering leaders.
- Acting as a tech advisor/partner to leaders like PMTs, SDMs, TPMs, and helping develop solutions despite technical ambiguity.
- Contributing significantly to the full software development lifecycle, including scoping, design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Raising the bar for the team's operational and engineering excellence initiatives.
- Working with customers, stakeholders, and peers to understand the business and customer value of your team's software.
- Documenting the team's software functionality, construction, testing, and operation.
- Delivering software features and improvements to major portions of your team's software.
- Actively mentoring other engineers on your team.
- Designing software solutions to enable new features or improve existing software.
- Making priority tradeoffs between new feature development and operational work.
- Bringing clarity to problems and identifying simple designs for solutions.
- Performing experimentation and proof of concept to help make data-driven decisions.
A day in the life includes understanding business requirements, participating in team mechanisms, writing code, debugging, fixing issues, updating documentation, and supporting on-call activities.
This role offers a competitive compensation package, including equity and a full range of benefits. The base pay ranges from $151,300/year to $261,500/year, depending on the geographic market and other factors.
