Description For Support Engineer, TFS AUTOM onboarding team

Amazon's Transportation Financial Systems (TFS) team is seeking a Support Engineer to join their AUTOM onboarding team. TFS owns the technology components that handle financial activities for Amazon's transportation business, operating across all transportation programs and retail expansion globally.

The role combines technical support and development responsibilities, focusing on maintaining and improving systems that manage financial document creation, expense auditing, accounting, payments, and cost allocation functions. The position offers unique exposure to both financial systems and transportation domains within Amazon's ecosystem.

As a Support Engineer, you'll be responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of critical financial automation systems. Your day-to-day activities will include troubleshooting production issues, implementing monitoring solutions, writing and debugging code in various languages (Perl, Ruby, Java), and working with SQL databases. You'll also contribute to infrastructure setup and process automation initiatives.
