Responsibilities For System Development Engineer, GES NA Ops Engineering

  • Collaborate with OEMs on developing controls, electrical, and hardware solutions
  • Define requirements and standards for work cells and MHE integration
  • Perform PLC and IPC control level issues and performance diagnosis
  • Define and measure system performance KPIs
  • Provide commissioning support to Operations Engineering Teams
  • Develop and standardize modular PLC or IPC code
  • Support emulation and simulation modeling of material handling systems
  • Travel up to 75% required

Requirements For System Development Engineer, GES NA Ops Engineering

Python
Java
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or another STEM field
  • 4+ years' experience as a project engineer, process engineer, project manager, manufacturing engineer, or related occupation
  • 2+ years' experience directly managing and responsible for large material handling or automation projects
  • Design and/or implementation experience with integrated automation solutions
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products: Excel, Project and Outlook
  • Experience with CAD software (AutoCAD, REVIT, BIM 360, etc.)
