System Development Engineer

Amazon is seeking a System Development Engineer to join their agile team working on cutting-edge consumer-facing products. The role involves providing infrastructure support, troubleshooting, and working on maintenance-driven coding projects primarily using Java and AWS technologies. Key responsibilities include software deployment support, developing tools for operations and maintenance, improving Retail Mesa infrastructure, and driving large-scale projects such as migration to native and Pipeline Automation.

The ideal candidate will have experience in automating, deploying, and supporting infrastructure, programming skills in modern languages like Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, or Rust, and experience with Linux/Unix. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and build processes is preferred.
