Description For Systems Development Engineer, Tech Deploy- Systems Integration

Amazon is seeking a Systems Development Engineer to join their Technology Deployment - Systems Integration team. This role is part of Amazon's global initiative to develop and deliver next-generation fulfillment systems through advanced technology. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with engineering experience in integrated automation project lifecycle, including design, development, implementation, enhancement, and support.

As a Systems Development Engineer, you'll serve as a crucial liaison between Fulfillment Center Operations and product development engineers. The role requires strong relationship-building skills across cross-functional teams and the ability to capture and synthesize customer feedback. Your primary responsibility will be owning the development and improvement of deployment processes, including validation and testing through lab and field activities.

The position involves integrating, deploying, and troubleshooting solutions for new advanced technology systems, while providing iterative feedback to internal and external partners. You'll work within Amazon's innovative culture, which encourages creative problem-solving and high ownership in complex situations. The role requires deep technical knowledge in control systems, software development, and automation integration.

Key technical requirements include experience with Unix/Linux systems, scripting languages, AWS services, and control systems including PLC/IPC based controls.
