Description For Technical Account Manager-ISV, ES - ANZ

As an Associate Technical Account Manager (TAM) at Amazon Web Services, you will be a valued member of the Enterprise Support team leading the success of enterprise support customers for software industries in building applications and services on the AWS platform. You will work backwards from your customer to define a support strategy, deliver expert advice on AWS services, and provide recommendations and proactive advice through all phases of the cloud adoption life cycle.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Acting as a single point of contact for Enterprise Accounts
  • Understanding customer outcomes and business goals
  • Making AWS service improvement recommendations
  • Evaluating and presenting periodic reviews of operational performance
  • Providing detailed reviews of service disruptions and metrics
  • Championing customer requirements within AWS
  • Leveraging key customer resolution tools
  • Sharing knowledge with leading technologists
  • Working directly with AWS engineers to resolve customer issues
  • Planning and executing business-critical events

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Experience in at least two technical domains (e.g., Compute, Storage, Networking, Databases, DevOps, Big Data, Security)
  • Software Engineering, SRE, or customer-facing experience
  • 2+ years of experience in similar roles (e.g., Technical Consultant, Solutions Architect, IT Engineer)
  • Ability to articulate and present to small and large audiences

  • 2+ years of experience in similar roles (e.g., Senior Technical Consultant, Solutions Architect, IT Manager/Engineer)
