Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago, a leading pediatric healthcare provider with a 140-year legacy, is seeking an Identity Access Management (IAM) Engineer to join their team. This role is crucial for maintaining the security infrastructure of a major healthcare institution, combining technical expertise with healthcare compliance requirements.

The position offers an opportunity to work with modern IAM systems, including Identity Governance Administration (IGA) and Privileged Access Management (PAM) tools. Responsibilities For IM Identity Access Management Engineer

  • Administration of Identity Access Management (IAM) systems including IGA and PAM tools
  • Managing IAM tools and connecting downstream systems
  • Monitor system interfaces/connectors and system health
  • Lead collection and analysis of business and technical requirements
  • Ensure system upgrades and patches are maintained
  • Monitor and track system performance metrics
  • Document IAM applications architecture and system configuration
  • Communicate technical information to various stakeholders
  • Work with enterprise architecture and technical teams for IAM solutions

Requirements For IM Identity Access Management Engineer

  • Bachelor's degree in information systems/technology/computer science or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of user authentication and access experience in complex environment
  • 2+ years experience with COTS IGA tools (SailPoint, Saviynt, Oracle) and/or PAM tools
  • Familiarity with identity management provisioning processes
  • Experience in cross-functional role-modeling exercises
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance (HIPAA, JACHO)
  • Project management experience
  • Strong communication skills
