Software Engineer, Employee Acceleration Tools

Anthropic is seeking an empathetic Software Engineer to build internal tools for employee productivity enhancement. This role involves rapidly prototyping and developing custom tools for various functions, including fraud, trust & safety, sales, and support teams. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with internal users, incorporate Claude for improved experiences, and focus on creating efficient, user-friendly solutions.

Key Responsibilities: • Rapidly prototype and build internal tools for various functions • Develop custom integrations for complex workflows • Consult with teams to understand workflows and identify automation opportunities • Maintain and iterate on tools based on user feedback • Monitor tool reliability and troubleshoot issues • Advocate for usable interfaces, APIs, and UX

Ideal Candidate Profile: • 3-10+ years of experience in building production full-stack software • Strong communication skills and user empathy • Proficiency with modern web development stacks • Experience with cloud technologies • Focus on reliability and iterative improvement

Additional Desirable Qualifications: • Experience building internal tools • Background in fraud, security, or related internal workflows • Knowledge of security and privacy best practices • Experience balancing trade-offs while maintaining security, privacy, and reliability standards
