Are you interested in learning what makes the Apple Watch tick? Apple is seeking an enthusiastic system validation coexistence engineer for the Watch System EE team! You will work to define test coverage to understand the interactions between all of the different hardware modules that make up the Apple Watch. The results will inform and guide key decisions in the electrical and mechanical design of the product loved and used worldwide!
This role involves defining test scripts and procedures for coexistence testing during engineering builds. You will work closely with EE design teams and subsystem teams to align on key metrics and quantify the impact of design decisions. You'll be involved in debugging complex problems related to EM coupling within the system and learning about all of the different hardware features that make up the Watch (sensors, RF, analog, digital, etc.). Analyzing collected data and presenting it to wide forums will be a key aspect of the role, along with keeping all teams informed on the status and outcomes of testing in a timely manner.
The ideal candidate must have experience working with many different cross-functional teams, be a team player, and have experience with working on shipping hardware. This is a design engineering position with significant cross-functional interactions to continually push the technology implemented in one of our most complex wearable device products.
Join the team that's shaping the future of wearable technology and contribute to the development of the Apple Watch, a product loved and used by millions worldwide!
