Hardware Systems Engineer

We are seeking hard-working individuals to join our team as a Hardware Systems Engineer. This position involves working with multi-functional groups to continually innovate iPhone & iPad products. You will actively engage with Hardware, Module, and Design & Validation teams at Apple.

Key responsibilities include:

• Evaluating overall system design through crafting and conducting evaluation tests
• Supporting Hardware teams in developing next-generation iPhones & iPads
• Building Failure Analysis reports
• Optimizing test processes and making recommendations for coverage improvements
• Developing benchmarking matrices using automation scripts
• Closing potential test gaps and improving scripts
• Supporting hardware development activities at manufacturing partner facilities

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with prototype work and functional verification, specifically with electronics. Proficiency with lab equipment such as digital multi-meters, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and data loggers is required. Strong coding and scripting skills in Python, Perl, Shell, and Unix are essential.

Preferred qualifications include experience with prototype hardware and/or development boards, developing automated test and measurement systems, and the ability to work independently in a high-pressure, dynamic environment.
