iOS Frameworks Engineer - HealthKit

Apple's HealthKit team is seeking a talented iOS Frameworks Engineer to work on the core technology that powers health and fitness applications across Apple platforms. The position involves working on HealthKit – the foundation of health and fitness functionality on Apple platforms. As a member of the team, you'll contribute to expanding the functionality of the Health app and HealthKit framework through cross-functional collaboration with feature teams, hardware teams, domain experts (including doctors and fitness experts), and third-party developers. Key focus areas include developing solutions for distributed health data storage, performance optimization, OS integration, and API design.

The ideal candidate will be a curious and self-motivated engineer with strong technical and communication skills. You'll work on innovative solutions for data syncing across Apple platforms, design features for millions of users on resource-constrained devices, and create comprehensive test suites. The role also involves significant API design work and collaboration with various Apple teams including Design, Privacy, and Security.
