The Mac Manufacturing Design Engineers are responsible for the development and implementation of key production processes in a high volume environment for Apple Mac products. In this highly visible role, you will have direct frequent communication and collaboration with Apple Industrial Design, Product Design, Manufacturing Design and worldwide suppliers.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Process Development:

   • Assess the suitability of fabrication technologies for part designs
   • Plan and lead validation exercises and experiments
   • Review progress and escalate critical process-related issues

2. New Product Introduction:

   • Drive process development and capability assessment activities
   • Work with Apple suppliers to support process development
   • Establish validation procedures for processes

3. Supplier Execution:

   • Review supplier tool design, process flow, and equipment selection
   • Identify shortfalls and corrective actions
   • Assess supplier readiness and mitigate potential risks
