Responsibilities For Materials Engineer, Failure Analysis Labs

  • Lead efforts on project management for a Failure Analysis (FA) team
  • Serve as primary point of contact for communications across projects
  • Monitor project progress and performance
  • Develop strong links with internal lab engineers, partner teams, and external vendors
  • Implement effective communication strategy
  • Ensure projects are well scoped and utilize appropriate resources
  • Provide succinct and accurate updates
  • Track purchases across the organization and manage budget tools
  • Coordinate with global teams across multiple time zones

Requirements For Materials Engineer, Failure Analysis Labs

  • Minimum B.S. in Materials Science, Chemistry, Biology, Engineering Management or a related engineering field with 3+ years industry experience
  • Experience with engineering management fundamentals
  • Understanding of material characterization techniques (e.g. X-ray CT, SEM, FTIR, XPS, AFM, etc.)
