Description For Mixed-Signal IP Firmware Engineer

As a Mixed-Signal IP Firmware Engineer, you will be responsible for developing firmware in C to implement critical FW features for IPs inside SOC. You will need to understand IPs by reading their specifications and support post-silicon bringup, validation, performance characterization, system integration, and debugging.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing firmware in C for critical IP features inside SOC
  • Understanding and implementing IP specifications
  • Supporting post-silicon bringup and validation
  • Performing performance characterization
  • Assisting with system integration and debugging

Qualifications:

  • BS degree in a technical discipline
  • Proven excellence in FW development using C and assembly language with ARM CPUs
  • Solid understanding of MCUs, ISR, and computer architecture
  • Experience with version control tools (git, Perforce) is a plus
  • Experience with real-time operating systems is beneficial
  • Understanding of mixed signal concepts is advantageous
  • Familiarity with RTL or Verilog is a plus
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
