Network Engineer – Global Network Services

Based out of Singapore, you will be part of a professional and dynamic operational team responsible for the day-to-day support of Apple's Enterprise Network infrastructure. We are rapidly growing and building the fastest and most reliable enterprise network needed for Apple's immense scale and unique requirements. You will work in a fast-paced environment while developing critical operational expertise to support an infrastructure environment that is stable and available to employees in our APAC offices and call centers.

You will need strong interpersonal skills to work with many cross-functional groups and vendors. The role requires obsessing over customer experience and driving operational excellence. You'll need extensive knowledge of network operations and designs, participate in essential network augments, and assist in new deployments to help Apple scale its product and service offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support day-to-day operations of Apple's Enterprise Network infrastructure
• Work with cross-functional groups and vendors

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of network operations and support experience
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP (both IPv4/IPv6)
• Experience and knowledge of configuring ACL (Access Control List)
• Knowledge & experience in networking technologies (Ethernet, MPLS, IPSec, VLANs, HSRP, OSPF, BGP, QoS, Multicast, VPNs, VoIP, VxLAN, SD-WAN, Structured Cabling)
• Hands-on experience with Cisco, Arista, and/or Palo Alto network platforms
• Knowledge and experience with network monitoring and management
• Scripting knowledge using Python and using Ansible tool (highly regarded)
• Strong communication skills
• Experience in building relationships and engaging various teams

Preferred Qualifications:

• College degree (BA or BS) or relevant technical degree or equivalent practical experience
• 3+ years of experience with progressive responsibilities in a global, multi-cultural, multi-location organization
• Advanced vendor Network Certifications
